Position Summary:
The primary
purpose of the Sales Associate is to effectively contribute to thesales
and operations of the branch, while delivering exceptional
customerservice. Such duties include sales presentations to current and
prospectivecustomers, running transactions, processing paperwork, and the
opening ofaccounts.

• Perform bank transactions accurately and
professionally.
o Assist customers with withdrawals, deposits, open
new accounts, etc.
o Prepare paper work and other materials for new
accounts.
o Follow proper dual control expectations.

Provide outstanding customer service to all bank customers.
o
Represent the bank in a courteous and professional manner.
o Answer
phone calls that are received by the branch.
o Deliver prompt,
efficient, and accurate service.
o Work with the customers to solve
any complaints.
• Achieve and exceed company set sales goals by
selling bank products andservices.
o Cross Sell alternative
accounts to current customers.
o Follow up on any prospective
customer leads.
o Reach individual goals as well as help coworkers
reach Branch goal.
• Open new accounts by reaching out to
prospective customers.
o Track new accounts opened and prospective
sales leads.
o Go into the aisle of the store and talk with
prospective customersabout the products and services that are
offered.
o Take part in promotions offered by Guaranty
Bank.
o Visit local businesses off site and inform them of the
products andservices that are offered.
• Responsible for security
and the maintenance of cash requirements intheir teller drawer.
•
Ensure compliance with appropriate bank, regulatory and
legalrequirements.
• Participate in various trainings offered by
the company to enhance skillsand knowledge.
o Learn the new
products and services that are being offered by GuarantyBank.
o
Work on problem solving skills to better assist customers in aprofessional
way.
o Enhance sales techniques and generate new
approaches.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
To
perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform
eachessential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below

This qualified candidate must have at least one year of
retail salesexperience. The candidate should have experience with goal
basedcompensation. This qualified candidate must have previous sales and
customerservice experience and also possess an aptitude for attention to
detail.
Education:
High school diploma
or general education degree (GED).
Language Skills:
Ability to read
and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating andmaintenance
instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routinereports and
correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups ofcustomers or
employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to
calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest,commissions,
proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to
apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to
apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnishedin
written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems
involvingseveral concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands:
The employee
will regularly be required to sit, stand, talk, hear, reach withhands and
arms, and operate a computer. Ability to lift op to 50pounds.
